Children learn best through play. Instead of math and German, toddlers often have colorful building blocks or fun grasping activities with a motor skills cube on their schedule. Supporting Babies Through Play

Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching – when little ones come into the world, there is still so much to learn. Their senses are not yet fully developed and need time to mature. While parents don’t have much influence over this, they can optimally support their children with the right tips.

Toddlers: The Right Toys Matter

In toddlerhood, from ages 2 to 3, the focus is mainly on developing gross and fine motor skills. The right toys, such as colorful building blocks, motor skills cubes, push walkers, and more, can be important learning companions. Colors, numbers, calendar dates, and creativity can also be gradually trained. With the right tips and tricks, parents can support their little ones in their developmental process.

Minimalist Play Encourages Development

Even in childhood, from ages 4 to 12, choosing the right toys remains important. The motto here is: less is more. Children learn best through play when they have to use their imagination and develop creative ideas themselves. Wooden toys, in particular, can have a positive impact on child development. Where lights or sounds might otherwise grab a child’s attention, wooden toys require them to think. Additionally, the right hobbies and appropriate parenting measures can positively influence child development.
