What do you need for the bunny cup?
- The desired number of paper cups
- Craft paper in various colors
- A piece of cardboard for drawing a template
- A pencil for sketching
- A black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
Craft instructions for the bunny cup:
Preparation: It’s best to take a pencil and draw a cute bunny head with ears on the piece of cardboard that will later fit well on the paper cup. Keep in mind that the bunny head should be glued near the lower edge of the cup so the cup won’t tip over due to weight.
Step-by-step instructions for the Easter bunny cup:
- draw a bunny head on the piece of cardboard as a template
- cut out the bunny head with scissors
- place the bunny head template on the craft paper in the desired color
- hold the template firmly and trace around it with a pencil, then transfer the bunny head onto the craft paper
- carefully cut out the resulting bunny head
- now draw the bunny’s eyes, nose, and whiskers
- repeat this for all cups you want to decorate with a bunny head
- finally, glue the cardboard bunnies firmly to the lower edge of the cup
- The bunny cups are ready
If you and your child want to keep it simple, just cut out the ears from cardboard, glue them to the back of the paper cup, and draw a cute bunny face on the front (see the top picture).
