30 Years of Howa Toys - A Look Back at the Year 2025

howa toys - The beginnings

howa toys started in 1995 in Steinach with a puppet theater and simple wooden painting boards. These first products laid the foundation for a vision: to give children toys that are robust, high-quality, safe, and designed with great love.

In 2003, we moved to Neustadt bei Coburg. From there, the howa brand steadily grew and is now found in many European countries and even in Asia.

Despite all developments, our core value has always remained the same: wooden toys that bring joy, foster creativity, and are sustainable.

Children, the digital world & the importance of wooden toys

The digital world is now an inseparable part of our children's everyday lives. Tablets, smartphones, streaming, and apps are already part of many children's early experiences. But precisely because of this, it is becoming increasingly important that babies, toddlers, and children have spaces where they can play, experience, and discover with all their senses.

Toys create exactly these real, tangible experiences:

2025 - howa: our anniversary year

This year, we not only celebrated our 30th anniversary but also looked back on three decades with great gratitude. We are proud of what we have achieved together with you – our customers – and are ready for many more years full of new toys and children's room ideas to continue bringing joy to children's eyes.
